Trainings in the summer camp "Romance"

On August 7and 8, 2015 at a summer camp "Romance", located near the village of Moskoveâ, we held training sessions with youth on both banks of the Dniester, as part of the project "Through youth leadership-to regional changes on both banks of the Nistru River»  .

The event was aimed at increasing youth involvement in identifying local problems. Training was attended by 28 people. Trainings were conducted by Julia Sirbu and Stanislav (a) Gonchar . The training addressed the following questions:

     What is youth civic engagement?

     What forms can youth civic engagement take?

     Why young people are not adequately using possibilities for the realization of their civic activity?

     Non-formal education to intensify youth;

     What barriers meets youth on its way?

     Identification of local problems;

     Solutions to existing problems.

During the training, parties showed high activity, asked many questions, participated in role-playing exercises. According to reviews all proposed topics caused keen interest.

According to participants, this event allowed them to gain new knowledge, share experiences, find a niche for self-fulfillment and to find necessary contacts that will help them in future work. In addition, they note that the project encourages young people to engage and participate in solving social problems.
